Our Childcare Hours
Our daycare is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The minimum care requirement is 40% and can be divided into half or full days. Families residing in Basel-Stadt are eligible for childcare subsidies.
Learning in a Bilingual Environment
At our daycare center, the children are cared for in German and English. We speak to the children in our respective native languages. This allows the children to come into contact with both languages on a daily basis and in a natural way. Acquiring a second language is particularly enriching in the early years of life.
Our Group Rooms
In order to meet the needs of the children, we care for a maximum of 30 children per day in two groups. The “Stars” group cares for children aged 3 months to approximately 3 years. The rooms at Horburgstrasse 2 are tailored to the interests of the little ones. They then move to the “Sunshine” group across the street, where they remain until they start school.
Our bright and child-friendly premises on the ground floor are conveniently located and offer more than 200 square meters of space for development. A natural courtyard invites children to play and linger.
You can reach us easily: our daycare center is located at the “Dreirosenbrücke” tram stop.
We also have excellent transport links to the A2 motorway towards Zurich/Bern or Germany and the A35 motorway towards Mulhouse/France.
There is a parking lot in front of the daycare, which is reserved for you from Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
